As you are all well aware of, last winter was the driest one we’ve had at Aspen Hills. As a reminder, there was never even enough snow to plow once! The result is that everything is dry and the smallest spark could start a devastating wildfire. If your not paying attention, it seems like the whole state of Utah is on fire right now. The determination has been made from the board that all open fires are RESTRICTED this year. This is on line with the current state wildfire guidance and it is actually illegal to have any open flames. This includes fire pits, welding, grinding and anything else that causes sparks. If you see anyone violating this restriction, please kindly remind them of the restriction and take a photo of their fire. If they refuse to put it out, please contact the Sanpete County Sheriffs Office and give them the lot number and road name where the violation is taking place. Once that is done, please contact the AHOA board and let us know the outcome. We will follow up from there.
Have a great summer but please be careful!
