In 2021 a weighting system was developed and put into a spreadsheet to help evaluate and prioritize all the roads in Aspen Hills.  Here is that spreadsheet: 2021 Prioritized Road work

Please note:

1. Every road is visited and assessed early in the spring season and given a number in each category, then the spreadsheet is sorted by numbers.
2. The higher the number on priority the sooner that road will likely be worked on.  However, there may be times when it makes sense to work on a high priority road at the same time as and adjacent lower priority road in order to minimize costs.
3. Priority = Primary + Secondary + Needs Widened + Visibly muddy + Never Graveled + Never Finished + Washboard + Visible damage + # of Cabins + 1/2 # of Trailers – Rarely Traveled.   For example, Rose Circle 5.5 =  0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 7 + 6 + (.5*5) – 10
